After years of searching for a creative and absorbing occupation, I found it on a basketmaking course with Lise Bech.  Living on a former smallholding in Argyll gave me the opportunity to develop a self catering holiday business which left enough time to fill with willow growing and basketmaking.

Most of my baskets are made in willow and are functional and traditional in style. I make shopping baskets of all shapes and sizes, log baskets and fruit bowls, frame baskets and fishing creels.  I have also worked on living willow structures with schools and individuals.

With accommodation for twelve and a workshop, I run courses and a venue for events.  Situated at the head of Loch Sween and surrounded by oak woodlands, this is a wonderful place to visit with excellent walking, cycling, wildlife and sites of archaeological interest.  Nearby Kilmartin Musuem has displays including replica baskets and fish traps.
