TALK : 'Woven Communities' by Dr Stephanie Bunn and Dawn Susan

For the past 4 years the speakers have been carrying out a collaborative study of Scottish vernacular basketry alongside contemporary Scottish basketmakers from the Scottish Basketmakers Circle. Some of the research was celebrated at the Woven Communities Symposium in St Andrews and the launch of the website of the same name. The 7 exhibitors in the current exhibition came together as a result of this event.

Bring any old baskets or basket related stories to share!
