Frame Baskets Masterclass

Develop and learn new techniques in frame basketmaking with willow and new materials.

All day Saturday ( 10am-5pm) and half day Sunday (10am-1pm)

Introduction to Garden Structures

Make a simple pea frame or garden edging using willow.

Day workshop 10.00am –5.30pm

Birch Work

Explore all aspects of working with Birch.

Day workshop 10am- 5pm

Tim Johnson 20/21 May
Hidden Spaces

Take inspiration from the surroundings of the Brahan estate and Tim's current area of research into costume and disguise with natural materials. We will explore the process of basketmaking to create intimate and special spaces using a variety of traditional and contemporary techniques with willow and locally gathered grasses and rush.

All day Saturday(10am-5pm) and half day Sunday(10am-1pm)
